Advantage Resources Inc. was initially started in 2002 as Advantage Resources LLC and was focused on providing Business Development services to small, privately owned, (8a) businesses seeking to capture government contracts. Our staff, who had collectively over 30 years’ experience in government contracting with extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), was uniquely prepared to assist small, entrepreneurial businesses with finding and capturing government contracts. We conducted business development activities for our clients including finding and qualifying opportunities that they were aligned to support, as well as performing complete Business Development services for them including Capture Planning, Capture Activities, Capture Management, Positioning to Win, Proposal Management, Proposal Development, Subject Matter Expert assistance, Pricing model development, Pricing to win, and development and inclusion of the pricing volume to the total proposal package.

In 2006, after Mike Kozlik, the founder and CEO of Advantage Resources returned from 3 years of mobilization and deployment with the US Army, Advantage Resources Inc (ARI) was formed and initially followed the original business model. During that year, ARI reconfigured its services to include business development programs for other commercial, privately owned businesses. Those services grew to include direct 1-on-1 coaching of Business Owners by Mike Kozlik in addition to the Business Development program process development.

In 2008 we expanded our services to include Business Development Training for clients who had a Business Development staff and Business Development Process Creation Services for clients who were growing and wanted a stable process in place as they grew their Business Development staff. Our “Dollars-in-the-Door” program was tailored to each client’s respective needs and objectives and resulted in streamlined, efficient and effective methods for creating a consistent and predictable flow of new business for their firms.

Everywhere it was implemented it created far better results in capturing NEW business than had previously been obtained. The “Dollars-In-The-Door” program is an evolution of a program developed by Mike Kozlik while working in the commercial sector, and again in the Government Services sector.

In 2009, Advantage Resources built out three new programs: “The 90% Solution” for building a “World-Class Team; “Total Quality Customer Service” to make providing businesses products or services to clients more efficient;

There are now numerous other sub programs all designed to work synergistically to help a business owner grow their business more Efficiently, more Effectively, and more Profitably.
